Visits DRAGONFLY FARM on January 11, 2012
Doug Smith (Livestock Judging Team Coach) and a delightful group of five young men / women arrived at Dragonfly Farm in the middle of a icey, cold, windy day and braved the wind and blowing snow to judge goats while in route to the National Western Stock Show for a judging event to be held on January 12, 2012.

We started by looking at a couple of pens of mature bred does, a few young does (less than a year) and then onto a pen with our two herdsires,  South Paw and Left Cross.  After some discussion on the bucks and some laughing at their antics (the bucks not the judging team) in the cold blustry weather.  We moved into the barn where I had moved a group of three mature does for the group to judge.

This was a great morning... and a  wonderful opportunity to meet youth interested in Agriculture.

I wish all of you the best of luck in Denver, and the future.  Please call and stop anytime, you are more than welcomed.
